New Moon in Cancer
Let’s welcome in this New Moon in Cancer today. Each New Moon has a unique flavor and this one will ask you to see any opposition in your life with a fresh perspective. For example, in society, when there are forces that oppose what is considered the law – we generally penalize them or lock them up and that is because they seem to be a threat. How do you deal with opposition in your live, your personal culture, your views, and in your initiatives? The opposition in society is baked into the DNA of it because we collectively, treat opposition with anger or penalty. Until we begin to shift our collective approach to understanding the other side and and asking questions, we will continue with this stark polarity that is emphasized with these opposing skies right now.
One thing you can control is your own reactions. You can shift your response to perceived opposition. Think of yourself as a culture and how would you want a society to face opposition? How will you see it? What is the end goal and process? As this New Moon opposes Pluto and Saturn, use this as an opportunity to ask questions and understand how you got to where you did if there is anything that seems to be opposing you right now in your life. Use this as an opportunity to invite in and integrate what seems to be opposition. Ask questions to it and understand it more. In such heavily polarized skies, we run the risk of buying into the ego battle here. Everything is a choice and how you respond this week, will set the foundations of your personal culture.
